My Tools
These are a collection of tools I use from Photography gear, software and non photography stuff that helps me be as efficient as possible. I hope you find some of these tools useful. If you have any questions, email me roman@iamrtg.com.
My Photography Gear
When I was starting out, I always wondered what other photographers were using, why they used what they used. I didn't know what was a must have in my arsenal of gear. Being over prepared by nature, I’ve always had more than I’ve needed, especially when I was starting out. I never wanted to, and I still don’t like to be in a situation where I’m caught off guard. It’s my job to be ready for any situation that comes my way while on duty. This is an ever growing list of almost everything I use or have used to start and run my photography business. I will also include photography and nonphotoraphy, more life related references that have helped me along the way.
The Sony A7r3 is my main camera. I use it for weddings, portraits, and family photography. Battery lasts 3x longer than the A7r2 and older models, dual memory cards, and tons of customizations makes this camera easy to use in any situation.
Non Photography Stuff
I love stuff, but not just any stuff, stuff that tends to make your life a little easier. Stuff for your stuff you might say.
I bought this scale because I wantedto keep track of my health and get in better shape. This scale that connects to my Apple Health account, keeps track of 15 different stats, keeps your goals in chart form, USB charging was very important to me, I don’t like regular batteries. I stay away from them as much as possible.
This USB Charger is by far the best one I’ve ever owned. I’ve had one for 4 years, and I recently bought another one. You can leave it plugged into the wall and use it as a wall charger with 2 USB slots, or you can take it off the wall and use it as a charger on the go. This charger is always in my camera bag. I’ve charged my phone, and camera with this single charger. Anybody I’ve handed it to has asked me for a link, that’s why it’s here.
